Bridges Elementary School's first graders have embraced the true spirit of giving this holiday season. In a heartwarming display of generosity, the 106 young students worked together to raise $806.51 to purchase gifts for the Hope House, an organization dedicated to supporting victims of domestic and sexual violence in Sauk, Columbia, Juneau, Marquette, and Adams counties.

The students took on a variety of tasks to raise the money. From cleaning homes to caring for pets, the children diligently completed their chores. One enterprising student even sold portraits of animals to contribute to the cause.
The Hope House, which serves as a crucial resource for victims of violence, will benefit greatly from the students' efforts, providing them with much-needed support during a difficult time of year. The first graders' hard work and compassion are a reminder that, even at a young age, we all have the ability to make a difference.
"This is definitely the season to spread kindness and support each other," a first grade teacher said. "Our students did their part to make the world a better place, and we couldn't be more proud."
The school's Grinch even made an appearance bringing a gift for the Hope House. The kindness shared made her heart grow several sizes!
With their collective effort, the first graders of Bridges Elementary School have proven that the gift of giving is truly the greatest gift of all.
