New for the 2024-25 school year, Sauk Prairie School District is expanding its childcare for 4K age children to help address the childcare shortage in our community. The program, 4K Care (modeled after the Community Center Kinderprep program), offers childcare for 4-year olds under the direction of a licensed teacher at each site. In addition to the Community Center, SPSD is offering 4K Care at Bridges (AM & PM), Tower Rock and Merrimac.
The 4K Care program is being offered through Sauk Prairie Schools Community Education. Registrations and payments will be through RecDesk.
In order to participate in 4K Care, students must be 4 years old by September 1 of the year the program begins. Toilet training is expected.
