Sauk Prairie Early Learning Center
The Sauk Prairie School District in partnership with the Village of Prairie du Sac and the Sauk Prairie Area Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the construction of a new early learning childcare center. This child center will help ease the challenge of childcare accessibility in the Sauk Prairie community.
Groundbreaking was held on October 17, 2024 with an anticipated opening date before the 2025-26 school year begins.
Private donations will cover the cost of construction of the building, which will be owned by the Village of Prairie du Sac. Sauk Prairie School District will run and administer the center as a revenue-neutral program.
The new state-of-the-art childcare center in Prairie du Sac and located in Culver Community Park, will offer 168 new slots for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
Jeff Wright, Superintendent of Sauk Prairie Schools, played a pivotal role in the development of this childcare center. "By investing in our youngest residents and providing families with affordable, high-quality childcare, we are investing in the future success of Sauk Prairie," Wright said.
